Anna Bertucci

In her role as Associate Head of School, Anna oversees the educational offerings in both divisions, and enjoys watching all learners in our school community share their Light with others. Her work as Head of Upper School has given her a deeper understanding of the intellectual and emotional development of high school aged students and she loves helping them find joy and meaning inside the classroom and beyond. 

Outside of Oakwood, Anna is engaged in the world of Friends education and independent school leadership, and has participated in the Friends Council on Education Institute for Engaging Leadership in Friends Schools and the Klingenstein Center’s Leadership Academy. Prior to joining Oakwood Friends, Anna taught history in Brooklyn and worked at the Field Museum and Art Institute in Chicago.
