Stephen Kekoa Miller

 

Stephen teaches Philosophy part-time at Marist College. Before coming to Oakwood Friends School, Stephen taught at Dutchess Community College, Dutchess Day School and two public high schools in Brooklyn. Stephen lives with Anna Bertucci and their two sons Soren (class of 2025) and Oskar (class of 2027).

Additional Affiliations: Stephen serves on the Board of Directors of PLATO (Philosophy Learning and Teaching Organization). He is also the Chair of the Committee on Pre-College Philosophy of the American Philosophical Association. Stephen served on the Ethics Board of the town of Poughkeepsie and the Teachers Advisory Council of the National Humanities Center. He is currently on the Ethics Board of Northern Dutchess Hospital.
