This is Katherine’s first year at Oakwood Friends School, and she is excited to join the school. Originally from Cuenca, Ecuador, she studied at the Universidad de Cuenca, where she began her teaching career by instructing English to both high school students and adult learners. After relocating to the Hudson Valley, she continued working with English language learners at SUNY Dutchess. Katherine brings extensive experience and a deep passion for language education to her role. She is pursuing her Master’s in World Language Spanish Education at SUNY New Paltz.
