Andrea is excited to join Oakwood’s supportive educational community. She has taught for over twenty years at local preschools. At these preschools she also worked as part of the administration team. She served as a Preschool Supervisor, Assistant Director and Director. Andrea also spent some time working in Early Intervention as a Special Education teacher, child advocate, parent trainer and ABA team member and leader. Before joining Oakwood, Andrea headed a Universal Pre-Kindergarten program. Andrea is also an active board member of the Child Care Council of Dutchess and Putnam County. Her latest accomplishment is earning a Certificate in Advance Studies in School Leadership Pre-K – 12.
