Giana Flocco-Quinn serves as the school counselor for Oakwood. Before joining Oakwood, she worked as an infant teacher at a daycare facility beginning in 2013. Initially pursuing a degree in teaching, Giana transitioned to school counseling after taking a counseling course. Inspired by her own experiences with her high school counselor, she developed a strong commitment to supporting students in their social, emotional, and academic development. Giana earned her Master’s degree in School Counseling in 2023 and was subsequently inducted into Phi Gamma Mu’s Honor Society for Social Science.
In her leisure time, Giana is an avid reader and audiobook enthusiast, a ballet dancer, a writer, and loves to cook. She also values time spent with her three children—Nile, Dahlia, and Maya—her husband, Peter, and their large array of pets.
