Willow Joffee

 

Prior to her role as Director of Community Wellness and Programming at Oakwood Friends School, Willow worked in a variety of educational leadership, non profit management and youth development roles. Willow recently served as the Assistant Head of School at an arts-integrated middle school in lower Manhattan where she oversaw all social-emotional programming and staff and student culture-building initiatives. Additionally, she has managed a mentorship program for young NYC creatives, counseled incarcerated young women, mentored adolescents in the foster care system, and worked with high school students and families in a variety of settings. Co-creating empowering spaces where young people can develop their academic, creative and personal goals, and grow with self-compassion, courage and joy is at the heart of Willow’s work in schools.
