Silva is an enthusiastic Math teacher with a global perspective, having spent the last four years teaching in various schools across different countries. Her passion lies in conveying the beauty of mathematics to her students, emphasizing that Math is more than just equations and formulas—it’s about understanding concepts deeply and finding joy in problem-solving.
Silva earned her Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Lebanese International University, where her love for the subject flourished. She continued her academic journey as a Fulbright scholar, obtaining her Master’s degree in Mathematics (with emphasis in college teaching) from Appalachian State University. Outside the classroom, Silva writes chess poems. She also enjoys exploring new cultures, languages, and cuisines—a reflection of her adventurous spirit and global teaching experience.
